I was born and grew up in Yokohama. I used to work in Tokyo for more than 20 years. I became the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in English in 2013. At first, I had attended a volunteer group which provided a tour of the Imperial Palace East Gardens until 2015. I guided more than fifty times in the garden as a volunteer and studied about Japanese history and culture. Based on this experience, I became a tour guide of this online site in 2015. Since then, I have guided more than 500 tours in Tokyo as well as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, Nikko, etc., while improving my tours. My tours are very flexible and I always do my best to customize them according to the interests of my guests. “Wonderful morning with Tomoko ”
Tomoko was a pleasure to tour with... early on we exchanged messages about how we wanted to spend our time, she was very receptive to our ideas to tour the back-streets of Asakusa and even helped us getting tickets ahead of time for the Sumida River Cruise, a huge WOW, we had time after the cruise to tour the Hama-Rykuen gardens and Tomoko recommended we have tea at the tea house there - so enjoyable thank you so much for your insights and knowledge and help!!
“Fabulous Night Tour with Kahoko ”
This was such a great evening - first to Shibuya and the Sramble and then on to all those "must -see" sights in Shinjuku - and then dinner at local izakaya. It was our first night in Japan and we had no idea what to order - Kahoko helped us with the menus and ordering and shared with us her knowledge and insights about Tokyo - it was the best of first night of any trip we have ever done... Thank you so much Kahoko for making our time in Tokyo with you so memorable
“Loved our time with Kahoko ”
We actually had two tours with Kahoko.. and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to everyone. Knowledgeable about all things Tokyo and engaging she is a delight to see Tokyo with. She also helped us with getting a Pasmo Travel Card, which were up till recently only available at the airport with long line-ups. I had heard they were available at Metro station and Kahoko actually went to the train station to confirm this for us in advance of our visit.. Hospitality Above and Beyond - thank you so much Kahoko.
